How snap works

snap pays people to post photos on X. There's nothing to download and no entry fee. You post on X like you normally would, and your photo shows up on Posts within about a minute.

A new window opens every 10 minutes, around the clock. Each photo you post stays in for 30 minutes, so it's entered in three draws in a row, and when each window closes, every entry gets paid. One entry, drawn at random, takes the jackpot.

A valid entry is one post on X that has all three of these:

2. 2The $SNAP cashtag
3. 3A photo attached to the post

The quickest way is the Post on X button on this site. It opens X with @usesnapfun and $SNAP already filled in, so all you add is your photo.

You have to post from a verified X account, and the post has to be public. Reposts don't count.

Windows run back to back and line up with the clock: 12:00 to 12:10, 12:10 to 12:20, and so on. A photo counts in the window it was posted in and the two after it. A photo posted at 12:04 is entered at 12:10, 12:20 and 12:30. After that, post a new photo to stay in.

You get one entry per window. Posting more photos doesn't add entries, but every photo still appears on the site. A new photo keeps you in for another 30 minutes.

The Window page shows the countdown, everyone who has entered so far, and every past window.

The pot is funded by $SNAP trading. Every trade of $SNAP generates a small creator fee, and everything that builds up while a window is open becomes that window's pot. Busy trading means a bigger pot.

If a window closes with no entries, nothing is paid out and its fees roll over into the next window.

The live amount is on the Window page, next to the countdown, along with what the jackpot and each share would be if the window closed right now. After it closes, the window's final pot and payouts stay visible under Past windows.

When the timer hits zero, the pot is divided:

• 20% goes to the protocol first. It's taken before anything else and keeps snap running.
• 60% is the jackpot. One entry, drawn at random, takes it.
• 10% is split equally between every other entry.
• 10% buys back $SNAP. It's set aside and spent on the market every 30 minutes.

If you're the only entry in a window, you take both the jackpot and the 10%: 70% of the pot.

Winnings are paid in SOL to a Solana wallet tied to your X account. You don't need to set up a wallet or connect one.

You can enter and win before you've ever logged in. Your winnings are recorded against your X account and everything is sent the first time you log in. After that, new winnings are sent automatically; very small amounts wait until there's enough to send, and go out together.

Your profile page shows your entries and your winnings, and lets you withdraw them to any Solana wallet (like Phantom) or export the wallet itself.

• Verified X accounts only.
• Public posts only. If you delete a post or make your account private, it's removed from the site and its entry is withdrawn.
• The photo has to be yours to post. No stolen, explicit or illegal content.
• One person, one account. Entries from bots, farms or coordinated accounts are excluded.
• You must be 18 or older, and it must be legal for you to take part where you live.

When a window closes, the jackpot entry is picked with a cryptographically secure random number from every valid entry in that window. Every entry has the same chance, and posting more times in the same window doesn't improve your odds.

Every window's entries, pot and jackpot winner are published under Past windows, and each of your payouts links to its Solana transaction on your account page.

The only official account is @usesnapfun. Any official $SNAP contract address will be posted and pinned there. Anything else claiming to be snap is fake.
